Epipremnum (more commonly known as Pothos) is a vine native to tropical forests in Asia, Australia and the Western Pacific. Characterised by their shiny, dark green, heart-shaped leaves and versatility in the ways they can grow. In the wild, they are known to overgrow forest floors and tree trunks with help from their aerial root systems. In good indoor conditions, you can expect the Epipremnum plants to trail over 10m long. They are particularly fitting for indoor settings because they are able to filter toxins like formaldehyde from the air.
Epipremnum can be grown as a statement piece in 3 ways: as a trailing plant that hangs in a waterfall of lush green leaves and gets bushier over time; tacked to a wall or furniture in to grow around your space; or pinned up a plant stake to encourage larger leaf growth and a more lush looking plant. All these options make this plant a fantastic option for any space and will have you in awe of its beauty in no time.
